With a 110 Ohm rated impedance the REFERENCE IC is perfectly suited for all kinds of analogue and digital audio signal transmission with supreme definition and stunning accuracy. The unique Cable-Core (Patent RU No.124834U) is comprised of 2 x 1.00 mm² (19 x 0.26 mm) multi-stranded BRC conductors, twisted symmetrically with 2 filling cotton cords and tightened with common cotton tape binding by means of FTDA technology. Each conductor utilizes SATI insulation: 5X-Cross porous PTFE (Teflon®) tape. Pioneered in the Reference IC our proprietary multi-element shield is a combination of two layers of rolled BRC foil, covered by >85% copper tinsel braid. It serves for better EMI-RFI protection and reduces electrodynamic noise generated in the shield. Jacketed with Elastollan®, it is available in standard terminated lengths, covered by a nylon protective sleeve and fitted with the stylish Reference RCA & XLR plugs for analogue and digital (AES/EBU) audio.
